Ukraine’s General Staff: Russia loses 33 artillery systems, 1,240 troops in one day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Saturday said since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost approximately 1,203,310 troops killed or wounded, including 1,240 casualties recorded in the past day alone.

Estimated total Russian combat losses in Ukraine from February 25, 2022, to December 27, 2025, are as follows:

• Tanks: 11,464 (+5)

• Armoured combat vehicles: 23,823 (+19)

• Artillery systems: 35,542 (+33)

• Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,579 (+0)

• Air defence systems: 1,264 (+0)

• Aircraft: 434 (+0)

• Helicopters: 347 (+0)

• Operational-tactical UAVs: 95,539 (+205)

• Cruise missiles: 4,107 (+0)

• Warships / boats: 28 (+0)

• Submarines: 2 (+0)

• Vehicles and fuel tanks: 71,612 (+158)

• Special equipment: 4,029 (+0)
