34,933 tests were performed in 24 hours, 373 new cases were identified, 542 people recovered in Georgia

According to information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 34,933 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 23,966 tests with antigen tests and 10,967 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 373 newly confirmed cases of virus infection were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 270,510.
As for the positive rate, as of February 26, the daily rate of positive is 1.07%, for the last 14 days – 2.07%, and for 7 days – 1.76%.
In the last 24 hours, 542 people recovered from the virus, and the total number of people recovered increased to 264,589.
There have been 14 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 3,499 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 373 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 177 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 19, Imereti – 47, Kvemo Kartli – 6, Shida Kartli – 41, Guria – 19, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 28, Kakheti – 16, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 8, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 8, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 4.
Currently, there are 2,396 active cases of infection, of which: 1,481 people are treated in hospitals, including 714 in Tbilisi hospitals, 160 in Adjara, 282 in Imereti. At this stage, 254 people are seriously ill, including 87 in Tbilisi and Adjara. 31, in Imereti – 75. There are 98 people on artificial respiration, 66 of them in Tbilisi, 5 in Adjara, 11 in Imereti. 164 people are accommodated in clinical hotels, including 101 in Tbilisi, 51 in Adjara and 9 in Imereti. 751 people are undergoing treatment for the virus in a residential apartment.
332 people are placed in quarantine areas, including 102 in Tbilisi and 87 in Adjara.
A total of 23,209 people were transferred from the state border to quarantine areas from October 6 to February 26.
At this stage, 7,304 people are in self-isolation, including 3,613 in Tbilisi, 345 in Adjara and 638 in Imereti.
