Ukraine reports nearly 900 Russian troops, 343 drones lost in single day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday released updated figures on Russia’s combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion.

According to the report, Russia has lost an estimated 1,091,890 troops (wounded/killed) since February 24, 2022, with around 890 casualties recorded in the past 24 hours alone.

In addition, the Ukrainian military said Russian forces suffered the following equipment losses between February 25, 2022, and September 11, 2025:

  • Tanks: 11,176 (+4)

  • Armored combat vehicles: 23,264 (+2)

  • Artillery systems: 32,628 (+22)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,483 (no change)

  • Air defense systems: 1,217 (no change)

  • Aircraft: 422 (no change)

  • Helicopters: 341 (no change)

  • Operational-tactical drones: 58,194 (+343)

  • Cruise missiles: 3,718 (+27)

  • Warships/boats: 28 (no change)

  • Submarines: 1 (no change)

  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 61,339 (+49)

  • Special equipment: 3,964 (no change)
