14 political parties registered for Georgia’s October 4 local elections

The registration process for political parties participating in Georgia’s upcoming local elections on 4 October has been completed, the Central Election Commission (CEC) announced.
The CEC reviewed all submitted applications and documentation, registering 14 parties with the right to participate. A total of 17 parties applied, with three denied registration for failing to meet legal requirements.
The next stage for registered parties involves submitting party lists, as well as mayoral and majoritarian candidates, to the relevant election commissions no later than 4 September. This will be followed by the verification and registration of the submitted documentation.
The parties registered to take part in the 4 October 2025 elections, listed by ballot number, are: Conservatives for Georgia (3), Homeland, Language, Faith (1), People’s Power (14), Strong Georgia – Lelo (9), For Georgia – Gakharia (25), Georgian Dream (41), Girchi (36), Georgia (11), Left Alliance (10), Alliance of Patriots of Georgia (8), Georgian Unity (4), Green Party (12), Our United Georgia (5) and Free Georgia (7).
