Russia loses helicopter, 42 artillery systems, over 1,000 troops in Ukraine in past day, says Ukraine’s Armed Forces

Russia lost more than 1,000 troops, a helicopter and over 1,500 drones in the past 24 hours of fighting in Ukraine, according to updated figures released on Saturday by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian military said Moscow’s total personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have reached about 1,258,890 troops, including 1,010 killed or wounded over the latest reporting period.

According to Kyiv’s estimates, Russia’s cumulative combat losses in Ukraine from February 25, 2022 to February 21, 2026 are:

  • Tanks: 11,685 (+1)

  • Armoured combat vehicles: 24,063 (+3)

  • Artillery systems: 37,429 (+42)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,651 (+2)

  • Air defence systems: 1,303 (+0)

  • Aircraft: 435 (+0)

  • Helicopters: 348 (+1)

  • Operational-tactical drones: 140,408 (+1,527)

  • Cruise missiles: 4,314 (+0)

  • Light speed boats/ships: 29 (+0)

  • Submarines: 2 (+0)

  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 79,295 (+183)

  • Special equipment: 4,073 (+0)
