45,216 remain infected with Covid in Georgia

Georgia has reported 4,509 new cases of coronavirus of 47,328 tests,  4,042 recoveries and 59 deaths in the past 24 hours.

45,216 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

The country has had 871,580 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020 of which 813,872 patients have recovered and 12,466 have died from the virus.

The new 4,509 cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi – 1,871 cases 

Adjara – 194 cases 

Imereti – 804 cases 

Kvemo Kartli – 269 cases 

Shida Kartli – 343 cases 

Guria – 100 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 366 cases 

Kakheti – 258 cases 

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 148 cases 

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 113 cases 

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 43 cases

6,545 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today, 37,536 others are at home, while 40,779 individuals are in self-isolation.

1,205,262 individuals have got at least one shot of the vaccine in the country since March 2021, while 1,023,779 people have been completely vaccinated.
