48,757 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today which means that the new cases are still surging in the country. 

 

The country has reported 1,942 new cases of coronavirus of 22,847 tests, 4,650 recoveries and 46 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

 

Georgia has confirmed 694,182 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020 of which 635,611 individuals have recovered, while 9,788 have died from the virus.

 

The new cases in Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi – 704 cases 

Adjara – 93 cases 

Imereti – 438 cases

Kvemo Kartli – 130 cases 

Shida Kartli – 84 cases 

Guria – 33 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 129 cases 

Kakheti – 253 cases

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 16 cases

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 48 cases

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 14 cases

6,166 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today, while 41,569 individuals with Covid-19 are at home as they have a mild form of the virus.

39,329 individuals are in self isolation. 

1,950,693 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country since March 2021, of which  925,169 have been completely vaccinated.
