616 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Georgia, 268 people recovered

According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 31,947 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 20,364 tests with antigen tests and 11,583 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 616 newly confirmed cases of virus infection were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 281,761.
As for the positive rate, as of March 30, the daily rate of positive is 1.93%, for the last 14 days – 1.74%, and for 7 days – 1.61%.
In the last 24 hours, 268 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 273,167.
There have been 5 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 3,778 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 616 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 319 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 50, Imereti – 58, Kvemo Kartli – 17, Shida Kartli – 35, Guria – 14, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 61, Kakheti – 25, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 20, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 2, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 15.
Currently, there are 4,790 active cases of infection, of which: 1,674 people are treated in hospitals, including 792 in Tbilisi hospitals, 221 in Adjara, 277 in Imereti. At this stage, 331 people are seriously ill, including 146 in Tbilisi and Adjara. 38, in Imereti -70. There are 65 people on artificial respiration, 44 of them in Tbilisi, 2 in Adjara, 7 in Imereti. 261 people are accommodated in clinical hotels, including 193 in Tbilisi and 59 in Adjara. 2,855 people are undergoing treatment for the virus in their homes.
270 people are placed in quarantine areas, including 159 in Tbilisi and 16 in Adjara.
A total of 23,905 people were transferred from the state border to quarantine areas from October 6 to March 30.
At this stage, 8,165 people are in self-isolation, including 3,598 in Tbilisi, 1,095 in Adjara and 1,079 in Imereti.
