Ukraine reports 1,430 Russian casualties, 70 artillery systems destroyed in past 24 hours

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Saturday said Russian forces have suffered 1,430 casualties over the past 24 hours, while Ukrainian troops also destroyed dozens of pieces of military equipment, including 70 artillery systems.
According to the latest update, Russia’s total losses since the start of its full-scale invasion in February 2022 have reached about 1,362,500 personnel killed or wounded.
The Ukrainian military estimates that Russian losses now include 11,960 tanks, 24,643 armoured combat vehicles and 42,930 artillery systems. Over the past day alone, Russian forces reportedly lost two tanks, seven armoured vehicles and 70 artillery systems.
The General Staff also reported the destruction of five multiple-launch rocket systems, one air defence system, 1,781 operational-tactical drones and six cruise missiles during the reporting period.
In addition, Ukrainian forces said Russia lost 483 vehicles and fuel tankers and four pieces of special military equipment over the past 24 hours.
