Russia loses 1,300 troops and 73 artillery systems in a day, says Ukraine

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures on Russian military losses, reporting significant casualties and equipment destruction over the past 24 hours.
According to the latest data, Russia has lost about 1,300 troops in a single day, bringing its total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022 to around 1,294,470, including those killed and wounded.
The Ukrainian military also reported notable equipment losses. Over the same period, Russian forces are said to have lost 73 artillery systems, alongside four tanks and 10 armoured combat vehicles.
The figures released by Kyiv outline the following total estimated Russian combat losses between 25 February 2022 and 28 March 2026:
Tanks: 11,812 (+4)
Armoured combat vehicles: 24,297 (+10)
Artillery systems: 38,936 (+73)
Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,707 (+7)
Air defence systems: 1,337 (+0)
Aircraft: 435 (+0)
Helicopters: 350 (+0)
Operational-tactical drones: 202,112 (+1,501)
Cruise missiles: 4,491 (+0)
Naval vessels/boats: 33 (+0)
Submarines: 2 (+0)
Vehicles and fuel tanks: 85,796 (+227)
Special equipment: 4,105 (+5)
