A public activist was kidnapped and killed in Kiev

In Kiev, officials detained and reported suspicion to three persons involved in the abduction and murder of a public activist and volunteer. The motive of the crime and possible accomplices are established.

According to the investigation, on the evening of March 24, the suspects were in the victim's apartment in Pechersk, held him against his will for about an hour and hit him in various parts of the body.
After that, the semi-conscious man was forcibly put into a car and taken out in an unknown direction. The man was killed and his body was hidden in an abandoned ditch in the Kiev region. He was found on March 28.
"Investigative actions continue. The motive for the crime and possible accomplices are being established. The issue of choosing the suspect without alternative measures of restraint in the form of detention is also being resolved," the message says.
