Three Turkish nationals arrested in Batumi for forging official documents

Officers of the Batumi City Division of the Adjara Police Department, under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, have arrested three citizens of Turkey - B.K. (born in 2000), D.K. (born in 1997), and H.K. (born in 1971, previously convicted) - on charges of producing, possessing, and selling forged documents.
According to the Interior Ministry, the arrests followed a series of coordinated operational and investigative actions. The suspects have been accused of manufacturing various types of fake official documents - including counterfeit driver’s licenses, identity cards, and residence permits - using specialized equipment inside their apartment in Batumi.

The investigation is ongoing under Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which pertains to the fabrication, storage, and use of forged official documents - a crime punishable by up to three years in prison.
