Adjara and Abkhaz governments discuss support programmes for displaced families

Head of the Government of Adjara Zurab Pataradze has met the head of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Giorgi Jincharadze, to discuss closer institutional cooperation and support programmes for internally displaced people.
According to the Adjara government’s press service, the meeting focused on prospects for strengthening ties between the two administrations and expanding joint initiatives.
Particular attention was paid to programmes supporting displaced families, including projects in healthcare, social protection, education, culture and youth affairs.
Pataradze said the authorities aimed to improve the socio-economic integration of displaced families living in the region through coordinated programmes tailored to their specific needs.
“Through joint efforts and close coordination, I believe this support will become even more effective,” he said.
Jincharadze congratulated Pataradze on his appointment, while the Adjara government head said cooperation between the two institutions would continue actively in the future.
