Both ongoing and upcoming infrastructure and investment projects were reviewed at the council session

The Government of Adjara, led by Chairman Sulkhan Tamazashvili, convened a session of the regional Economic Council to review current economic developments and outline strategic plans aimed at sustaining long-term growth in the region.

According to an official statement on Tuesday, council members discussed items on the formal agenda alongside the government's broader development objectives. The session focused on the region’s “positive” economic trends, which officials said were contributing to Adjara’s sustainable development.

Both ongoing and upcoming infrastructure and investment projects were reviewed, with particular attention paid to strategies for attracting foreign and domestic investment, as well as supporting the local business environment.

The government emphasised that fostering private sector growth and maintaining regional economic momentum remained central priorities.
