Employees of the Adjara Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia have arrested two individuals on charges related to the illegal purchase, possession, and facilitation of narcotics distribution.

Law enforcement officers seized an especially large quantity of dried marijuana, along with materials used for narcotics packaging, during searches of the suspects’ persons, temporary residences, and several other locations.

The offenses are punishable by up to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
