The main question and challenge is how to address the priorities set by the European Commision for Georgia’s EU candidate status, as it requires joint efforts of all political forces,  French Ambassador to Georgia Diego Colas said on Thursday.

He stated that the European Council expressed readiness to grant Georgia candidacy once recommendations are fulfilled.

“The process requires the unity of all political  forces, finding a common platform, and finding an inclusive method for making progress in the decision-making,” said the ambassador.

Georgia has six months to address the recommendations which include moves for depolarization, reforms in the judiciary, de-oligarchization and others.
