Starting January next year an electronic system for registering children will be implemented in all kindergartens in Tbilisi. In response, Anna Dolidze, chairperson of the For the People party, sent a written inquiry to the Kindergarten Management Agency, criticizing the legal basis of the decision.

Dolidze on Wednesday said that the agency did not have the normative act to mandate parents to use only chip cards for dropping off and picking up children. She emphasized that the decision was made arbitrarily, creating additional difficulties for parents, and noted that it was unclear how and where the collected personal data will be processed.
