Georgia’s opposition parties announced plans for a large-scale protest on November 4, to be held at 7 pm on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, to contest alleged election fraud in the recent parliamentary elections.
Anna Dolidze, one of the leaders of the Strong Georgia coalition, called for public support in a statement, promising to reveal the opposition’s action plan at the rally.
“We have uncovered extensive evidence, backed by thousands of videos, which confirms election interference. Our goal is to ensure that those involved in this manipulation are held accountable. We represent the mandate given to us by the people to lead the country toward European integration,” she said.
Dolidze emphasized that the protest would unify multiple groups committed to defending democratic principles and what they describe as the “true will” of Georgian citizens.
“You are witnessing the unity of the three opposition coalitions that earned the trust and mandate of the people in the October 26 elections to lead this country and guide it into the European Union. We are representatives of the victorious people, and behind us stand those fighters who have received your trust to lead the country forward on the path of progress,” she said.
Dolidze urged supporters to gather peacefully, asserting, “We will protect our choice for a better future for our children.”
