Dolidze said the initiative did not represent a serious or sustainable unity

The leader of the For the People party, Anna Dolidze, has criticised former president Salome Zourabichvili, saying she had made an “another mistaken step” by encouraging politicians to join a proposed political alliance.

In a social media post on Tuesday, Dolidze said the initiative did not represent a serious or sustainable unity, arguing that internal problems within the group had already been visible.

“She made another mistake when she called on politicians to join what I would describe as a fractured structure,” Dolidze wrote.

She added that, despite pressure, her party had decided not to join the alliance, describing that decision as “wise”.

Dolidze also suggested that the weaknesses of the proposed bloc had now become clear, reinforcing her earlier criticism that it lacked long-term viability.
