Head of Abkhazia’s autonomous government visits displaced families in western Georgia

Jincharadze said improving the social conditions of the displaced population remained one of the Abkhazian government’s key priorities

The chair of the government of Georgia’s Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Giorgi Jincharadze, has visited Martvili municipality, where he met socially vulnerable families displaced from the currently Russian-controlled Abkhazia region.
During the visit, Jincharadze personally assessed the living conditions of displaced families, listening to their daily challenges and needs. Based on the information gathered, he promised support and said existing problems would be addressed gradually.
Speaking during the visit, Jincharadze said improving the social conditions of the displaced population remained one of the Abkhazian government’s key priorities, adding that support for internally displaced people would continue in the future.
He also plans to meet displaced communities living in other municipalities of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, Jincharadze’s press office said.
