UAE President vows deepening ties with Georgia during Tbilisi visit

The UAE President highlighted the growth of trade relations between the two countries

The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has reaffirmed the strong ties between Georgia and the UAE during a meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in Tbilisi.
“I am very pleased to be in Georgia. Our two countries share a common vision of stability, peace, and positive relations between people,” Sheikh Mohamed said. “It is a pleasure to meet you again following our discussions in Abu Dhabi. Georgia and the UAE already have close ties, and we will further strengthen cooperation and implement numerous projects in trade, business, economy, industry, and energy.”
The UAE President highlighted the growth of trade relations between the two countries, describing them as reaching millions of dollars, and stressed that economic cooperation would continue to expand, particularly in transport and investment projects undertaken by UAE companies.
He also noted the importance of cultural collaboration and shared heritage as a foundation for long-term development. “The UAE will enhance partnerships across the Caucasus region, promoting stability, peace, and common interests. Peace is the main pillar for economic development and growth. I once again thank Georgia and wish stability, development, and success to the Georgian people,” Sheikh Mohamed added.
