Armaz Akhvlediani, a member of the United National Movement, has vowed that protests and resistance will continue despite attempts to neutralize the president, referring to Salome Zourabichvili. In a statement to the press, he emphasized that their fight is not for imitation but out of necessity, as they see no other choice.

Akhvlediani further condemned Bidzina Ivanishvili and his ruling party Georgian Dream, claiming it has taken control of Georgia and is attempting to eliminate the opposition. “I am certain we are dealing with a criminal group that has decided to seize Georgia completely and eliminate all of us, but we will not let that happen,” he stated.

He also added that regardless of any moves to neutralize the president, the resistance will persist. “We fight not because we want to imitate anyone, but because we have no other choice. Our future is being destroyed by Ivanishvili’s criminal group, and that’s why it’s now or never,” Akhvlediani declared.
