The United States Embassy in Georgia has reaffirmed Washington’s “strong commitment” to regional security and allied cooperation, as American and Georgian troops conducted joint military operations as part of the Agile Spirit 2025 exercises.

In an official statement on Tuesday, the embassy said the drills “clearly demonstrate the United States’ commitment to the stability of the Black Sea region, as well as the strength and importance of allied cooperation.”

As part of the exercises, servicemembers from the US Army’s 173rd Airborne Brigade - specifically the 1st Squadron of the 91st Cavalry Regiment - carried out a convoy operation together with Georgian forces. The joint movement took place between the Senaki and Vaziani military training areas.
