Giorgi Bukhrashvili has been appointed as the new Head of the Adjara Police Department, replacing Grigol Beselia, who stepped down from the position today.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Bukhrashvili’s appointment was part of a routine rotation process aimed at enhancing the efficiency of police operations.

“The Ministry of Internal Affairs periodically carries out rotational changes in the leadership of various departments to further improve the effectiveness of police work,” the ministry stated.
