“Attacks on journalists are unacceptable and it is inadmissible to get used to them”

The US Embassy in Georgia is responding to the attack on journalist Vakho Sanaia and his family.

"The US Embassy condemns the attack on journalist Vakho Sanaia and his family. Attacks on journalists are unacceptable and it is inadmissible to get used to them.

"We call on the authorities, in addition to this case, to fully investigate other unsolved cases of violence against journalists," – the statement said.
