Sky Express to launch direct flights between Heraklion and Tbilisi this summer

Greek airline Sky Express will operate direct flights on the Heraklion-Tbilisi-Heraklion route during the upcoming summer navigation season. According to the Civil Aviation Agency, the new service will run weekly on Tuesdays from 6 July until 22 September.
The Georgian Civil Aviation Agency has already granted Sky Express the necessary permissions to operate the route.
Sky Express entered the Georgian aviation market in 2024 and currently operates regular flights between Athens and Tbilisi. The Heraklion-Tbilisi route marks the airline’s first new destination in Georgia.
Air traffic between Georgia and Greece has been growing steadily. In 2023, 284,858 passengers traveled directly between the two countries - a 29% increase compared to 220,776 passengers in 2024. This summer, airlines including Aegean Airlines, Sky Express, and Wizz Air will operate a total of 19 weekly flights between Georgia and Greece.
