Azerbaijani president visiting Georgia for the 1st time in seven years

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will visit Georgia later today, holding a press conference with Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili in Château Mukhrani, Mtskheta municipality of central Georgia, in the afternoon, the government administration said. 

It is Aliyev’s second visit to Georgia under the current state leadership since 2015. 

The Georgian PM visited Azerbaijan last year twice.
