Azerbaijan’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Vilayat Eyvazov, has arrived in Tbilisi on an official visit at the invitation of Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze. Eyvazov is accompanied by a high-level delegation, the Georgian Interior Ministry confirmed.

According to the ministry’s press service, the visit will include an extended-format meeting between the two ministers, during which the sides will sign a new bilateral agreement. The document aims to further strengthen cooperation between Georgia and the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of law enforcement, with a focus on joint efforts to combat cross-border crime, enhance operational coordination, and share best practices.

As part of the visit, Minister Eyvazov and his delegation will also tour several specialized units of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs to observe their operational activities and capabilities.
