Azov battalion commander Oleg Mudrak dies aged 35

Oleg Mudrak, the commander of the first battalion of the Azov regiment, who had to spend four months in Russian captivity amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, died on Wednesday, aged 35, the nephew of the military, Daniel announced via his Instagram.

 

Mudrak became widely known after writer Stanislav Aseev published his photo before and after captivity. 

 

Cardiac arrest has been named as a possible reason for death.
