An unknown individual vandalized electronic voting boxes at the 23rd polling station in Didveli village of the Baghdati municipality.

The perpetrator entered the station and damaged the equipment, causing a tense situation that led to the commission chairperson feeling unwell. An emergency medical assistance team was called to the spot.

Both patrol and criminal police units have been mobilized around the perimeter of the village in response to the incident.

As a result of the vandalism, voting at the polling station was temporarily halted. Currently, the voting process is continuing using traditional paper ballots instead of the electronic system.
