Law enforcement officers apprehended the suspect in Batumi following investigative measures

Officers of the Adjara Main Division of the Central Criminal Police Department under Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested a Turkish national wanted through an Interpol red notice.

The Ministry on Monday said the detainee, identified as E.G., born in 1985, was sought at the request of Turkish law enforcement authorities for alleged involvement in multiple serious crimes. The individual had been placed on Interpol’s red notice list based on Turkey’s request.
