A Turkish national wanted by Interpol for theft, robbery and unlawful deprivation of liberty by threat has been arrested in Georgia’s Black Sea city of Batumi by the local Central Criminal Police Department, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs said on Sunday.

The body added extradition procedures were currently underway in accordance with the law.
