Uzbek national wanted by Interpol arrested in Georgia’s Black Sea city of Batumi

Batumi law enforcement authorities have arrested an Uzbek national wanted under Interpol's red notice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reported on Saturday.

The suspect, born in 1979, is wanted by Uzbekistan on charges of commercial fraud and theft.

The Ministry said the suspect was currently undergoing simplified extradition procedures in accordance with Georgian law.
