Belgian FM to visit Georgia this week to “promote peace” in region

Hadja Lahbib, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Foreign Trade and the Federal Cultural Institutions of Belgium will visit Yerevan, Tbilisi and Baku on a four-day trip this week to “promote long-term peace” in the region and strengthen bilateral ties.  

 

“I am going to Yerevan, Tbilisi and Baku on a four-day trip, which is full of important meetings. The goal is to promote long-term peace in the region and the strengthening of our unifying ties on behalf of Belgium and in accordance with the position of the European Union,” the official said.
