The foreign ministries of Germany and France expressed concern about the situation in Donbass and the movements of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine.
According to DW, this is stated in a joint statement by representatives of the French and German Foreign Ministry, which was released on Saturday evening, March 3.
"Germany and France are concerned about the growing number of ceasefire violations after the situation in eastern Ukraine stabilized in July 2020. We are very closely monitoring the situation, especially the movement of Russian troops, and call on the parties to restrain and immediately de-escalate," the statement said. …
Representatives of Paris and Berlin once again expressed support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.
