US President Joe Biden has responded to atrocities allegedly committed by Russian troops in Bucha, an Ukrainian town, calling for a trial to be held against Russian President Vladimir Putin “who is a war criminal.”

He stated that more information and evidence should be collected over Russia’s actions in Ukraine, saying he was looking into additional sanctions against Russia.

“We have to continue to provide Ukraine with the weapons they need to continue the fight and we have to get all the details so this can be an actual — have a war crime trial,” Biden has stated.

Moscow has dismissed allegations over Bucha, claiming that no crimes were committed there by Russian troops.

However, satellite images show dead bodies on the streets of  Bucha at that time the town was under Russian control.
