Biden makes unexpected visit to Kyiv

US President Joe Biden on Monday arrived in Kyiv for an unexpected visit, making his first trip to the country while in office. 

He, along with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, paid tribute to the memory of the fallen heroes of Ukraine.

“There is no doubt that the Ukrainians will continue to win the battlefield”, Biden said at the press briefing with his counterpart.
