Boris Johnson skeptical to Russia-Ukraine peace talks as Putin is “crocodile”

UK PM Boris Johnson says that Russia-Ukraine peace talks are doomed to failure as “negotiating with Russian President Vladimir Putin is like dealing with a crocodile.” 

 

He suggested that the talks are like trying to “negotiate with a crocodile when it’s got your leg in its jaws.”

 

Johnson pledged to focus on military support for the Ukrainians instead.

 

He has also left for India to assure the country’s leadership not to have a neutral position to the Russia-Ukraine war.

 

Last week India decided to resume exports of some non-sanctioned products to Russia.
