Canada has deployed a small contingent of special forces operators to Ukraine, while the UK says that it is supplying the latter with anti-tank weapons amid tension at the Ukrainian border.

The deployment of a small contingent from the Canadian Special Operations Regiment comes on the heels  of faltered talks with Russia while an estimated 100,000 Russian troops remain camped on Ukraine’s border.

Russia is demanding from the US and NATO to review their policies on Georgia and Ukraine.

Russia which currently occupies Georgian and Ukrainian territories is demanding from the alliance not to add the countries as new members.
