Charge d’affaires of Ukraine: we bow before Georgian fallen heroes in Ukraine

Chargé d’affaires of Ukraine Andrey Kasyanov says that he and the Ukrainian people ‘bow before the Georgian heroes’ who died while defending Ukraine during the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. 

“Volunteers from Georgia are actively showing their heroism and courage together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Command of the Land Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces says that  Georgian volunteers, together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, destroyed a convoy of enemy equipment. Unfortunately, there are losses as a result of hostilities. The life of each hero is invaluable. Today we bow before Georgian heroes,” Kasyanov said today. 

Three Georgians have been killed so far in Ukraine during the hostilities which erupted on February 24. 

Kasyanov said that Ukrainian troops and volunteers are defending territories effectively. 

He said that Russia continues to bring in its own reserves and is exercising pressure on Belarus to drag the country into a war.
