Civil activists of the Shame Movement on Thursday posted a photo of a bus on their social media account, saying they had thrown paint to it as it reportedly belonged to a Russian folk group supporting the Kremlin’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine.
The Shame Movement said the folk group “Kamushka” operated in Russia, in the Perm region, uniting schoolchildren, students and graduates of secondary and higher educational institutions.
According to the website of the administration of the city of Perm, in February “Kamushka” took part in the event dedicated to “Defender of the Motherland”. In addition, according to the information published by the group on social media, they planned a concert dedicated to “Russian warriors” for the first of May.
“The Ural national dance group, which receives government funding in Russia and openly supports the war in Ukraine, is in Tbilisi. The group that a few days ago danced at the Kremlin concert, and dedicated its previous concerts to ‘Russian warriors’, should not enter Georgia”, said the civil movement that is slammed as a “foreign agent” by the Georgian Dream authorities.
No official comments have been made so far about the folk group or the reasons for its alleged presence in Tbilisi.
