Congressman Kinzinger: Georgia an important ally, bulwark against Russia

Georgia is an important ally and bulwark against Russia, Congressman Adam Kinzinger tweeted after his meeting with Georgia’s new Ambassador to US, former FM David Zalkaliani.

The Congressman said that he had a “great meeting” with Zalkaliani which was mainly focused on “unprovoked war” against Ukraine.

“Had a great meeting with David Zalkaliani, Georgia’s new ambassador to the US.  Lots to discuss, but especially the unprovoked war against Ukraine. Georgia is an important ally and bulwark against Russia,” said the Congressman.

Russia invaded Ukraine back in February of this year.

Hostilities have been in progress since then.
