Coronavirus in Georgia: daily cases at 2,783, 44,545 remain infected

Georgia has reported 2,783 new cases of coronavirus out of the 17,693 tests in the past 24 hours, while active cases stand at 44,545 in the country.

5,450 individuals have recovered and 32 have died from the virus in the past 24 hours across the country.

1,629,065 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 26, 2020.

1,568,064 of 1,629,065 patients have recovered and 16,430 have died from the virus since the outbreak of Covid-19.

Tbilisi – 1,171 cases 

Adjara – 97 cases 

Imereti – 418 cases 

Kvemo Kartli – 105 cases 

Shida Kartli – 182 cases 

Guria – 167 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 218 cases 

Kakheti – 228 cases 

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 78 cases 

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 54 cases 

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 65 cases

Only 2,209 patients are placed in hospitals as of now.
