Covid daily cases drop to 58 in Georgia, no new deaths

Georgia has reported 58 new cases of coronavirus out of the 4,243 tests and no new deaths over the past 24 hours. 

 

The daily positivity rate as of yesterday is 1.37%, for the last 14 days – 1.18% and for the last seven days – 1.14%.

 

213 people have recovered from the virus in the reported period. 

 

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi – 35 cases, 

Adjara – 1, 

Imereti – 9,

Kvemo Kartli – 2, 

Shida Kartli – 0, 

Guria – 3, 

Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 0, 

Kakheti – 4,

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 2, 

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 2, 

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 0.

 

Active cases stand at 1,483 out of which  321 people are placed in hospitals.
