Covid daily cases stand at 3,221 in Georgia, 27,772 remain infected

Georgia has reported  3,221 new cases of coronavirus of 37,717 tests, 2,990 recoveries and 54 deaths in the past 24 hours.

 

27,772 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

 

The country has had 585,036 cases of coronavirus since February 2020. 

 

548,951 of the 585,036 patients have recovered, while 8,287 have died from the virus.

 

Most of the new cases were recorded in Tbilisi – 1,167, Adjara – 220 and Imereti regions – 498.

 

More than 5,800 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals, while the majority are at home.

 

1,534,111 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which  619,889 have been fully vaccinated.
