COVID daily cases surge to 7,521 in Georgia

Georgia has reported 7,521 new cases of coronavirus out of 56,367 tests over the past 24 hours. 

3,160 individuals have been recovered and 31 died in the reported period. 

In total 14,512 have been killed by the virus in Georgia since April 2021. 

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi – 4,171 cases 

Adjara – 801, 

Imereti – 792,

Kvemo Kartli – 285, 

Shida Kartli – 380,

Guria – 193, 

Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 302, 

Kakheti – 263, 

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 171, 

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 108 , 

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti -55.

57,659 people remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.
