Covid: Georgia reports 1,915 cases of 21,411 tests, deaths stand at 78

Georgia has reported 1,915 new cases of coronavirus of the 21,411 tests conducted on the weekend. 

 

5,929 individuals have recovered and 78 others have died from the virus in the past 24 hours. 

 

49,017 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

 

The country has had 545,033 cases of coronavirus since February 2020. 

 

488,661 of the 545,033 patients have recovered, while 7,329 have died from the virus.

 

Most of the new cases were recorded in Tbilisi – 727 cases , Adjara – 247 cases  and Imereti regions – 180 cases

 

1,164,402 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which  383,454 individuals have been fully vaccinated. 

 

Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili stated earlier today that according to prognosis the coronavirus cases will begin to climb down seriously starting October.
