“Before the drafting of the constitution, there were very serious talks and consultations, as a result of which we got a product in the form of constitutional amendments, which we have not had in the history of our country” – Davit Usupashvili, the representative of the parliamentary opposition, said during the public discussion of the planned amendments to the Constitution of Georgia, which is underway in Kutaisi.

According to Davit Usupashvili, reaching such agreements and then implementing them is very important.

“As it turns out, the biggest danger that can happen to us in the society, in the state, is the loss of the price of speech, devaluation. The fall in the GEL exchange rate is a big problem, but the fall in the price of words is an even bigger problem, because it will lead to the loss of trust, opportunities, advancement in business, politics and all kinds of relations” – said Davit Usupashvili.
