The Russian occupation forces continue to shell the positions of the Ukrainian defenders with the aim of further accusations of violating the ceasefire.
During April 9, 7 violations of the "silence" were recorded, including 6 shelling and one remote mining with POM-2 mines, according to the morning report of the JFO headquarters.
The militants opened fire near Sands and Waters from 82-caliber mortars, grenade launchers of various systems and small arms. Not far from Starognatovka, the enemy fired at the positions of our defenders from automatic easel grenade launchers.
In the Luhansk area, the enemy opened fire from automatic heavy grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
As a result of shelling from the Russian side, one soldier was wounded by shrapnel. The headquarters claims that the state of the defender is now satisfactory; he was immediately taken to the hospital.
The militants mined the territory in the direction of Zaitsevoy with POM-2 mines.
The actions of the armed formations of the Russian Federation were reported to the OSCE representatives through the Ukrainian side of the JCCC.
At 7:00 on April 10, the occupiers recorded another violation of the "silence" – near Mayorskoye. There are no combat losses among the Ukrainian defenders for the current day.
