Georgian defence minister Juansher Burchuladze on Monday announced the singing of several “very important agreements” on the purchase of weapons at the beginning of the next year.

“The bureaucratic part of procurement is almost completed. Although today it is very difficult, there are no more easily available weapons either in Europe or around the world, we still managed and went through this process. At the beginning of 2023, we will conclude several large procurement contracts with our partner countries”, Burchuladze said.

He also claimed that the Georgian-Polish company Delta-WB would produce a test version of unmanned aerial vehicles in the near future, while the mass production would be launched next year.

“We will already make the advance payment and start the test production of unmanned aerial vehicles, as for the mass production, it will start next year,” he said.

The official said that the company had been founded by technology specialists who are focused on high technologies.
